# compare and contrast Arjun and Eklavya's character.
When we compare and contrast Arjun and Eklavya's character we can see the purpose of both the students of learning archery. Arjun's purpose is to become greatest archer of the world. While Eklavya's purpose is to save animals of the jungle by this we can see both of as acontrastive character one is arrogant and prodigal prince while other is a savior of Animals of jungle. The main thing which make different between them is Arjun is kshatriy as a powerful upper class while Eklavya is a Nishada boy as a weak person from lower caste. In this play we can see Eklavy a is a protagonist and Arjun is an antagonist.
# what is subaltern? Who do you think is the subaltern in this play? Explain with an example.
Concept of subaltern:
In the post-colonial studies and in critical theory, the term subaltern is someone with a low ranking in a social, political, or other hierarchy. It can also means someone who has been marginalized or oppressed. Antonio Gramsci coined the term subaltern to identify the social groups excluded from the society.
In the purpose we can find that Eklavya from low caste, he was Nishada boy and Arjuna was a king's boy, prince and he was Arya. So Eklavya can not study Archery from guru Dronacharya, because he was Nishada boy. At that time only high class or king's sons learn archery, and Drona was guru only Arjuna not any other. So we can say that Nishada is subaltern caste or goup of people and Eklavya was as a subaltern person. Even his purpose to learn archery is good and he was smart than Arjuna yet he can't became great archery because of his caste. so he learn archery by the idol of Drona.
# write your views about Education system in India with reference to past and present time.
When we see Education system in India in the past (ancient) time is totally different than present time, because in past time the person who want to learn or education, they can't take education from their village but they should be gone on guru's ashram at jungle and learn so many things like how to live with manners and some archery skills etc. But there are also some patiality, like only higher class take education e. g. Kshatriya and brahmins have opportunity to take education. No chance for lawer class even have good skill or motives.
In present time education system gave chance to take education but casteism also play a role, we can see some patiality in education system. Here we can take two example in which we can see the struggles of students who belong to lawer class .
In hichki movie we can see the lawer castle students have special room 9F.they can not take education as higher class students take, but in our society have some noble person(teacher) that's why that student go in high place to achieve their dreams and goal. Let's discuss another example.
In super 30 we can also see the education system as a business to earn money. and alot of struggle for lawer and poor class, but we can find the main theme is" Ab Rajasthan ka beta raja nahi banega jo hakdar hoga vahi banega ".In Education system we can also find corruption.
# Is Dronacharya an ideal teacher ? If yes, then how? and if no, then why? Explain with example.
No, Dronacharya is not an ideal teacher, because as we know the definition of teacher or guru 'one who dispels darkness of ignonce'. We can say an ideal teacher who has no patiality, selfishness or all students are equal in his eyes whether it is from lawer or higher class. But here Dronacharya ignored the proposal of Eklavya because of he is come from lawer class , in spite of this act after Eklavya's learning from his idol he take his right hand's thumb (his archery skill) that shows his selfishness because Eklavya became greatest archery expert in the world even than Arjuna that's why Dronacharya is not an ideal teacher at all.
