Thinking Activity on paradise Lost

#Thinking Activity: Human perspective v/s Divine perspective on Milton's Paradise Lost:

Hello readers!

I am the student of English language and literature, here I would like to write this blog on human perspective and devine perspective on Milton's paradise lost, we can see 'Genesis' from The holy Bible as devine perspective , but the literature is always based on human perspective as Milton's Paradis Lost, he rewrite paradise lost as a human perspective, so let's see.

#Human perspective on Milton's paradise Lost:

Human perspective according to me is,

  • If God do not want to share the knowledge, than why he put on that apple tree, as a risk, why he could not take in himself, in which nobody can take. In this matter God has also take mistake.

  • If devil is harmful than why he made first, and when Eve disobedient by satan, Instead of devil satan why she get more painful punishment. In God's justification is can be partial when we see the punishment of Eve as a woman and Adam as a man like good to God, even satan choose the way through serpent to came in Edan garden, What is the mistake of serpent, it also get painful punishment like Eve. It's show God's justice is not fair.
  • We can also see the character Adam as representation of human emotions, when Eve tells  the whole event and to eat an apple, he thought that if God  punished Eve and make another Eve for him, but he loves only this Eve, so tZhis thought shows of human emotions as well as human perspective.
# Divine perspective on Milton's Paradise Lost:

  • As we know that The holy Bible is based on devine perspective, God is the center of Bible, Adam and Eve as flat , and voiceless not freedom at all. They don't have any emotion or feeling or voice. The satan-serpent tempted Eve, Eve tempted Adam and the fall happened. God emerged and punished all three, here we can see devine perspective through the God's punishment.

#How do we read the character Eve as transgresser and yet defendable:

If we read the character of Eve in Milton's Paradise Lost than we can explore the character Eve as not transgresser through her defendable arguments, she said that,

"What may this means?
Language of Man pronounced By
tongue of brute ,and
human sense expressed! The first
at least of these I thought
denied To beasts,
whom God on their creation-day
Created mute to all articulate sound? "

Here  Eve as the strong defendable through the freedom, she wanted to know what is "True" and what is "False" through the knowledge like God. She reflect as more intellectual, curious and revolutionary than Adam, the deem which is done by her is nothing wrong on the side of as freedom. She reflects  more revolutionary and the today's woman's situation.

Thank you  ...... .
