#Compare and contrast characteristics of Renaissance age with Puritan age:

In the history of English literature there are different literary ages.  In Elizabethan age theatrical activities were done for deductive purpose. But in the entry of puritan age brought the theatrical activities come to an end.

(A) The Elizabethan literature with all its diversity was full of patriotism feelings the authority used to support the people queen Elizabeth offered supported the result was that english people also showed their gratitude to the nation and also to the queen. The queen was devoted to the public and the public also responsed well.
 
       While in the puritan age the kings and the queens were considered as the public enemy. The queen might have some faults but she should not be neglected by the people. The country was decided into part by the struggle for religious and political liberty too.


(B) The Elizabethan literature is better considered is an inspiring literature. It inspires not  only the youth but the all age people it throbs with the youth vitality.
     
       While,  the puritan literature is generally gloomy and full of sadness hours are followed gloom and vices.

(C) In the Elizabethan age the writers got a new inspiration to write something because of the support of their queen:they writer for the deductive purpose and showed their love for queen and Nation.
     But, here during this period there was considerable declaine in the literature production the deterioration was montly due to the influence if the partian age they wanted to prove all together different from the Elizabethan age. Moreover James-1believed in ppuritanism.

(D) In the Elizabethan age drama had been origin, and the great dramatist Shakespeare's contribution done in this era.
         While, during the age of Milton the drama form decline. Almost all the theaters were closed down by the year of 1642 so drama didn't enjoy.


 #Compare and contrast characteristics of Renaissance age with Restoration age:

(A) the Renaissance age also known as the Elizabethan age(1550-1620) .
      The restoration age also known as the age of Dryden(1660-1700)

(B) the Elizabethan age has the tendacy enthusiasm and dream, dreams of adventure of unbounded enthusiasm springing from new land of fabulous riches revealed by english.

        While in restoration tendacy of realism. Realism means the representation of men exactly as they are without regard of ideals or romance. The restoration writers pointed realistic picture of corruption court and society.

(C) the Elizabethan followed new romanticism, the romantic quest is for the remote the wonderful and the beautiful all desires were abundantly fed during the Elizabethan age.
     
     While the restoration follows formalism to established rules for writing to emphasize close reasoning rather than romantic fancy and to use short, clean, cut sentence.

While restoration literature is the adoption of the heroic couplet.

(A) The Renaissance also known as Elizabethan age.under the queen Elizabeth's administration the english national life progressed bygigantic leaps rather than by slow historical process.

    The classical age also known as Agustan age.but unlike queen Elizabeth this meekly stupid queen had no influence upon our literature.

(B) The Elizabethan age of comparative social contentment. The rapid increase of manufacturing towns gave employment to thousands, who had before been idle and discontented.

     Inthe18th century there were many social developments like schools were established, spread of education, increased clubs and coffee houses.

In18th century newspaper was born, literature including books, magazine become the cheif instrument of nation's progress.

(D) In the Elizabethan age most famous writer Shakespeare's contribution had been done.
While Inclassic age refers to writers of the highest ranking in any Nation for exampleexample great Greek  and Roman writers like homer and virgil.

#Compare and contrast characteristics of Renaissance with age of romanticism: 
(A) The Elizabethan age is known as golden Age of  english literature.
While the age of romanticism is known as the second create period of English literature.

(B) The most characteristic feature of the renaissance age was comparative religious tolerance. Which was due largely to queen's influence upon her accession.

   The chief subject of romantic literature was the essential nobleness of common men and the value of the individual.

(C)In Elizabethan age there were appearance only man as a writer.

While in romanticism age there were very first time appear woman as novelist for example Mrs.  Anne Radcliff.

(D) Abandance of output in Elizabethan age. The historical situation encouraged the healthy production. The interest shown in literatury subjects is quite amazing to a more chastened generation.
         While in romanticism turned to the work of reform at home. Prevention of child labour, freedom of press, the extension of manhood suffrage.

(A) when Elizabeth became queen in 1550,english literature seems to have tremendous production as a golden age.
         While,  Victoria became queen in1837 english literature seem to have entered upon a period of lean years.

(B) Renaissance the age of comparative social contentment. The rapid increase of  manufacturing town gave employment to thousands, who had before been idle and discontented increasingly trade brought enormous wealth to England.
 While in The victorian age social unrest play a vital role like the age of democracy, it is an age of popular education, of religious tolerance, of growing brotherhood, and of profound social unrest.

#Compare and contrast characteristics of Renaissance age with 20th century:

(A) In the age of Elizabethan all doubt seems to vanish from english history. After the reign of Edward and Mary with defeat and humiliation abroad and persecution and rebellion at home the accession of a popular sovereign was like the sun rise after a long night.

 In the 20th century literature the long and progressive reign of queen Victoria came to a climai in the diamond Jubilee year(1897) a time of peace and plenty when the British Empire seemed to be at the summit of its power and security.
